The system can detect in almost real time the evolution and history of natural disasters (fires, earthquakes, landslides, etc.) for the area of interest, it can observe various natural phenomena and weather conditions (wind, temperature, etc.) along with their changes into an interactive GIS map environment, 24x7.
ADC consists of an amalgam of various technologies combined in an integrated architecture such as satellite images and data and GNSS signals (Global Navigation Satellite System); it processes them on an open platform using intelligent algorithms and it delivers to the user processed and meaningful information and also alerts in sms, emails. Aratos Group is capable of including satellite images and data even from contemporary satellites equipped with SAR (Synthetic-Aperture-Radar) sensors like the Sentinel-1. The SAR sensor is capable to deliver with high resolution images even in night hours or for cloudy areas, also detecting small movements on the ground which makes it capable for effective land and maritime monitoring.
